The Cyber-Nuclear nexus and its impact on the stability of the international security order

This paper aims to examine whether the cyber-nuclear nexus is changing or has the potential to change three fundamental elements of the international security order, namely structural, constitutive, and institutional elements. Highlighting the severity of cyber threats to NC3 and other critical nuclear weapons-related infrastructures, the paper contents that the cyber-nuclear nexus, coupled with the ongoing US-China strategic rivalry, is already having a significant effect on the stability of the order.
